What I'm looking for

I seek roles where I can lead health data system development, automate workflows, mentor teams, and improve data quality for impactful program decision-making.

I am a Data Officer, Programmer, and Monitoring & Evaluation specialist with a BSc (Hons) in Computing and over ten years of experience in health-focused projects. I focus on building reliable data systems, automating workflows, and ensuring data integrity across programs.

In my current role at a university health sciences department I develop custom data management solutions using Python and Stata, automate data extraction from DHIS2 via APIs, and create tailored analysis tools to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.

Previously I designed and implemented M&E frameworks for HIV, DREAMS, and other health programs, led data quality assurance activities (RDQA/DQA), and supported USAID/PEPFAR reporting. I have experience with DHIS2 (tracker and aggregate), EMR systems like Baobab, SurveyCTO/ODK, and advanced Excel, Stata, and SPSS analyses.

I am committed to mentorship and capacity building, having trained field staff and junior analysts in data collection, validation, and reporting best practices, and I prioritize ethical data management and protection in all projects.
