At ASU’s Bio-Inspired Robotics Technology and Healthcare Lab, I engineer a lizard-like robotic inspection platform for power-plant pipelines. I design mechanical subsystems, including compliant grippers and transmission mechanisms, for field deployment.
I developed textured PDMS friction pads and tested their traction under different loads and surface conditions. Experimental testing and simulation helped validate gripping reliability and locomotion stability for EMAT-based inspection.
Earlier, during my Aerospace Engineering Internship at IIST, I designed and fabricated an extrusion system, structural frame, and cooling assembly for a 3D ceramic printer. I also performed ANSYS CFD simulations to study cavity flow over airfoils.
My projects include an automated vehicle mirror-adjustment system using facial recognition and eye tracking, and a hydraulic-electric hybrid quadruped robot. I hold a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University.
