I’m an IT Security Analyst with hands-on SOC operations experience, focused on monitoring security tools, analyzing threats, and responding to incidents. I build enterprise-grade lab environments to test detections end-to-end, then refine them with real attacker techniques. My work is anchored in SIEM-driven visibility and MITRE ATT&CK mapping.

I’m proficient with Splunk (including SPL query writing and dashboards) and network telemetry using Zeek and Wireshark. I combine malware analysis (REMnux, Hybrid Analysis, VirusTotal, MalwareBazaar) with threat hunting (Velociraptor, VQL) to engineer behavioral detections and investigate IOC evidence. I’ve specifically worked on DNS C2 detection, JavaScript dropper analysis, vulnerability assessment workflows, and log analysis across Windows and Linux.

Since October 2025, I’ve been a SOC Analyst Trainee at Luke Tech Limited (Canada, remote), completing practical training in threat detection, SIEM configuration, and incident response fundamentals. Earlier, as an IT Support Technician at Edulinks Business Ventures (Nigeria), I developed foundational IT operations experience through troubleshooting, user account management, and system/network configuration.

I currently pursue CompTIA Security+ and ISC2 CC, and I’m actively practicing through live lab projects in phishing simulation, tunneling detection, and Velociraptor DFIR. I’m seeking a fully remote IT Security Analyst role where I can contribute to detection engineering, incident triage, and continuous improvement of SOC outcomes.
