Chiamaka Okeke

I’m a public health program officer and program manager focused on Nigeria’s maternal and child health systems, bringing strong project coordination, stakeholder leadership, and data-driven decision-making. I strengthen local partnerships, support government-linked initiatives, and translate evidence into programs that improve equity and sustainable care.

In my most recent role, I co-developed the data framework for MIHEI’s AI referral tool—preparing clean datasets and data dictionaries while coordinating with developers to embed danger-sign CRM and document control workflows for Traditional Birth Attendants. I also led partnership discussions with organizational partners, finalizing an agreement with Hygeia HMO that enabled MIHEI to launch its first women-focused health-insurance plans.

I’ve consistently delivered measurable impact through logistics, research support, and reporting: managed logistics for a 15-week Train-the-Trainer program, onboarded 200 Traditional birth Attendants, and tracked attendance at 98%; maintained 100% on-time task completion for multidisciplinary teams; and improved stakeholder engagement by 30%. Earlier, as a Research and Teaching Assistant, I supported studies feeding into WHO policy work, delivered weekly progress dashboards ahead of timeline, and contributed to proposals that increased proposal success rates by 30%.
