I’m a Backend Developer with a Chemical Engineering background, focused on translating real-world problems into practical digital solutions. I build secure, scalable backend systems using clean architecture and collaborative development.

In my recent work on a Sustainable Fisheries Management Platform, I architected a production-grade Express.js backend using OOP principles and modular service layers. I also handled PostgreSQL/PostGIS migrations and documented API contracts with Postman for reliable integration.

I’ve implemented OTP-based authentication and multi-channel notifications, integrating Africa's Talking SMS and SendGrid email to support reliable user communication in low-connectivity environments. I also built a rule-based fishing recommendation engine using seasonal/regional catch data, delivered through an AI-powered chat and camera interface.

Previously, I designed and built a full-stack BookTracker using MVC architecture, PostgreSQL relational design, and server-side rendering. I integrated the Open Library API for dynamic covers with RESTful patterns, third-party consumption, and structured error-handling to keep the system maintainable.
