I’m a confident, team-oriented nursing professional with experience in emergency room nursing, occupational health, and orthopedic nursing. I’m compassionate and knowledgeable when handling critical patient situations, focused on providing swift and appropriate responses to patient care.

In orthopedic nursing at Mercy Lincoln Orthopedics, I provide comprehensive nursing care for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. I assess patients with fractures, arthritis, tendon and ligament injuries, joint pain, and post-operative concerns, and I assist orthopedic surgeons with evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up care.

I also support hands-on interventions like removing sutures, staples, and casts, and applying splints, casts, and braces or slings. I handle surgical scheduling and coordinate with hospital teams and insurance for surgery planning, including CPT codes, peer-to-peer setup, and ICD codes.

In emergency room roles, I’ve served as charge nurse of night operations with 12 beds, prioritizing, triaging, and assessing multiple patients while collaborating with doctors and staff during life-threatening incidents. I’ve also worked in occupational health at General Motors, conducting annual/new hire physicals, responding to plant emergencies, coordinating referrals and vaccine clinics, and directing care through workman comp cases while following safety policies and procedures.
