What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a backend-focused role where I can build secure, scalable services, improve performance, and ship reliable releases—while contributing to modern DevOps practices like CI/CD and zero-downtime deployments.

I’m a Backend Engineer with hands-on experience building and optimizing production APIs, including migrating slow TypeORM queries to optimized raw SQL to improve performance. During my 12-month internship at ZeloraPvt Ltd, I also tested and resolved critical issues to minimize downtime and reduce client time-to-value for the RomeoHR application.

I enjoy designing secure, scalable systems—like a multi-tenant microservices setup with row-level security, JWT authentication, CI/CD with webhook deployments, and health-check rollbacks for zero-downtime releases. I also explore AI-driven solutions in projects such as code-mixed Singlish/Sinhala TTS and context-aware Firefox dictionary features using on-device inference.
