At AREWA24 TELEVISION NETWORK AND PRODUCTION STUDIO, I advanced from Transmission Schedule Intern to Head of Program Scheduling. I reviewed and scheduled shows and program breaks, prepared electronic program guides, and coordinated timely delivery of materials for transmission.
As Head of Program Scheduling, I supervised three schedulers and managed scheduling and branding professionals. I developed and executed scheduling strategies that contributed to increased audience engagement.
I worked with sales and marketing on advertising campaigns and analyzed programming and advertising performance to identify opportunities for improvement. I also supported quarterly grid planning and coordinated with producers, editors, production managers, and the playout station.
Earlier, as a Human Resource Intern at Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health Programme 2, I assisted with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and HR reporting. I hold a master’s in business administration and have completed courses in project management, cross-cultural diversity, inclusion, and sensitivity, human rights advocacy, and green digital skills.
