I am looking for opportunities that allow me to collaborate creatively and grow in animation.

I am Carter "Cart Mart" Martin, a passionate 2D character animator and storyboarder with a strong background in traditional, rig-based, and sprite animation. My journey in animation has been marked by creativity and dedication, culminating in my recent project, "Oatmeal the Snowman 2: Steel Cut Oats," where I wrote, directed, animated, and composited a 13-minute slasher film in just two months. This project was honored with the Best Animated Film award at the 2025 Atlanta After Dark Film Festival, a testament to my commitment to storytelling through animation.

Throughout my career, I have worked on various projects, including storyboarding and character design for an animated YouTube series and contributing to the FLCL Reanimated opening produced by Studio Gearhead. My experience extends to leading animation departments, coordinating production pipelines, and ensuring high-quality output in every frame. I thrive in collaborative environments and am always eager to bring innovative ideas to life.
