Caroline Nkausu

I am a registered nurse with four years of clinical experience delivering bedside, emergency and ward-based care at a district hospital. I hold a Diploma in Nursing and have advanced training in HIV care.

I have worked across casualty, children’s, female and male medical wards, performing triage, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing acute and chronic cases. I am skilled in cannulation, catheterisation, nasogastric tube insertion and oxygen therapy, and I ensure timely, compassionate care for every patient.

I routinely document procedures on nursing cardex, manage pediatric nutrition protocols (F-75/F-100), and operate equipment including IV pumps, feeding pumps, cardiac monitors, nebulizers and pulse oximeters. I follow strict infection-control and sterilization procedures and prioritize patient privacy and collaboration with colleagues.
