Lwendo Lubanze

I’m a newly qualified Registered Nurse with clinical placement experience across medical-surgical, maternity, paediatrics, psychiatric, and outpatient departments. I was trained at Lusaka Apex Medical University (LAMU) and I’m licensed by the nursing and midwifery council of Zambia, with strengths in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and health education.

During my placements at Levy Mwanawasa Teaching Hospital, I managed pregnant and non-pregnant women and pediatric patients, providing discharge information (I.E.C) to support health even after leaving the facility while strictly maintaining confidentiality. At University Teaching Hospital, I supported medical and surgical patients through clean, safe care practices; observations; nutrition and hygiene support; and hands-on nursing techniques such as oral/injectable drug administration, cannulation, nasal gastric tube insertion, urinary catheter care, and wound dressing—always focusing on treatment adherence, teamwork, and patient-centered outcomes.
