Carolina Ruiz
@carolinaruiz1
Biotechnology engineer focused on enzyme assays, quality, and data-driven lab work.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Dipl.-Ing. Biotechnology graduate, focused on bioprocess and lab execution. My thesis evaluated “laccase and LPMO for enhancing pulp properties in paper manufacturing,” shaping how I think about enzymes, measurement, and practical impact.
As a Laboratory Tutor at Graz University of Technology, I coordinated laboratory logistics and schedules for a group of over 30 students. I explained biochemical protocols, monitored adherence to safety regulations, and managed inventory and reagents for daily workflows.
In my Biotechnology Project work (in collaboration with Mondi Group), I handled daily execution, troubleshooting, and optimization of enzymatic assay workflows. I maintained SOP-compliant laboratory notebooks and documentation, compiled results into technical reports, and also supported GMP/ISO/FDA-aligned manufacturing documentation during my Medtronic internship.
