At CSL R&D, I lead Bioinformatics across Europe and the USA, supporting drug projects from preclinical research through early clinical development. My work includes target discovery and validation, biomarker discovery, and evaluating generative AI tools and biomedical foundation models for drug research.
Earlier, at the Babraham Institute and VIB - KU Leuven, I developed approaches for single-cell and multi-omics analysis, including AutoSpill for high-parameter flow cytometry, published in Nature Communications. Across my research career, I’ve developed computational methods spanning biomedical knowledge graphs, statistical modeling, and machine learning, with work published in journals including Cell and Cell Reports Methods.
