At MPE USA Inc, I managed supplier quality and launches for automotive customers including BMW. By implementing APQP controls, in-process SPC monitoring, and supplier corrective action governance, I helped reduce the scrap defect rate from 8% to 3.5%.
I led 8D root cause analysis and corrective actions that reduced annual customer quality claims from 24 to 5. I also managed programme launches from nomination through SOP, with on-time PPAP approvals and no unresolved open issues at launch.
At Bocar Group, I supported supplier pre-selection and industrialization and launched more than 27 component programmes with BMW, VW, Mazda, and GM. My work included APQP, PPAP, dimensional validation, and quality stabilization; I also helped sustain GM BIQ Level 4 and BMW Green Status.
At Valeo Climate Control, I managed quality work for BMW and VW programmes, including warranty investigations, 8D, engineering changes, and PPAP. As a resident quality engineer at BMW Spartanburg, I supported containment, vehicle validation, and production readiness. I’m based in Mexico City and available immediately.
