At West Virginia University, I led R01-funded research on vaccine development against Borrelia burgdorferi, the causative agent of Lyme disease. I developed novel vaccine formulations and investigated antigen combinations for a multivalent vaccine.
My work has contributed to research publications on vaccine platforms and Lyme disease, and I’ve mentored undergraduate students in molecular biology techniques and data analysis. I’ve also taught biology, microbiology, immunology, and parasitology laboratory courses.
