What I'm looking for
I’m a full-stack software engineer with 8 years in the Bay Area, currently at Nutanix. I’m at my best taking a feature end-to-end—from PostgreSQL schema design to a Spring Boot API and a React UI—without handing off between teams.
At Nutanix, I own the subscription management module in the licensing portal, supporting 200+ enterprise accounts at 99.6% uptime. I replaced a synchronous report endpoint with an SQS + Lambda async pipeline, cutting p95 latency from ~11s to under 2s and eliminating monthly timeout-related support tickets.
I also built a RAG-based support assistant (pgvector + GPT-in-a-Box API + Spring Boot) that answers licensing and entitlement questions in plain English, reducing average resolution time from ~15 minutes to under 3 minutes. On the performance side, I fixed the slowest PostgreSQL queries using EXPLAIN ANALYZE and optimizations that dropped average report load from ~7s to under 1.5s—and I was promoted to Software Engineer II in January 2025, ~9 months ahead of the standard timeline.
