Policy-driven environmental scientist advancing Everglades restoration and water-quality protections.
What I'm looking for
I am an environmental scientist and policy advocate focused on Everglades restoration, water quality, and public-health protections. I combine regulatory experience, scientific analysis, and persuasive communication to shape and defend environmental policy.
At the National Audubon Society I lead advocacy strategies, draft technical reports and testimony, and represent organizational priorities to Congress, state officials, and local governments while directing major mobilization events like Everglades Action Day 2026.
Previously at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency I developed primary drinking water regulations, led risk assessments, revised the Lead and Copper Rule with substantial public-health benefits, and improved program efficiency through coaching and process innovations.
I also bring international development and science-education experience from the Peace Corps and provide freelance scientific copyediting for STEM publications, ensuring technical accuracy and clear communication for academic and professional audiences.
