What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level research or data role where I can combine qualitative insight with quantitative analysis, support archival or digital projects, and contribute to socially impactful work through clear communication and careful documentation.

I’m a sociology student and early-career research professional who blends archival work with qualitative and quantitative analysis. I’ve catalogued and synthesized hundreds of materials into usable archival summaries while maintaining quality control and clear documentation.

Most recently, as an Archival Project Intern at the Resource Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity (RCSGD), I catalogued and historically analyzed over 100 digital and physical materials into archival summaries using Google Sheets. I also photo-copied, chronologized, and digitally filed 20+ pieces of physical media through Dropbox, and collaborated with staff to debrief logistics, progress, and issues via weekly in-person and Zoom meetings.

In a Faculty Research Assistant role within UCSB’s Feminist Studies Department, I conducted archival research and built written analytical, annotated bibliographies focused on LGBTQ+ and Latinx historical figures. I corresponded on bi-weekly assignments via email and prepared bi-weekly Zoom presentations of completed analyses and qualitative research findings.

Across research and organizing work, I co-designed and collected survey data in Qualtrics and analyzed results in STATA, then wrote and presented research analysis reports. I’ve also applied rhetorical research and media literacy to create zines, including a post-election protest/zine and an academic Palestine teach-in project in collaboration with student organizations.
