What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a remote, open-minded team where I can translate and subtitle English↔Swahili with accurate agribusiness and tech vocabulary, culturally natural wording, and room to grow with AI-supported workflows.

I’m an open-minded, versatile, and detail-oriented translator and undergraduate student. As a native Swahili speaker with operational proficiency in basic English, I bridge communication gaps with precise, natural, and culturally relevant translations.

I combine technical knowledge in Agribusiness and Technology with creative media (movies and music) to deliver work that feels locally authentic. In my freelance role, I translate agribusiness learning guides, general articles, and business-related texts from English to Swahili, and I generate natural Swahili subtitles for short films, promotional videos, and music lyrics.

I also proofread and edit Swahili translations to correct semantic flow, tone, and localized terminology. I’m currently building deeper expertise through my Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management and Technology, and I’m excited to explore AI translation support tools and digital agribusiness platforms.
