Engaged by 30+ clients for scoped expert engagements in data engineering, AWS architecture and data visualisation. Delivered end-to-end solutions including data models, pipelines, APIs, React front-ends, and CI/CD.

Built an interactive Leaflet mapping site visualising open-pit mining vehicle telemetry with near-real-time fleet animation, health events and site inspections. Designed the normalised SQL Server schema, C# Ajax data layer, user-security and task-management modules, admin application and a D3 telemetry dashboard.

Built SAP Lumira and Xcelsius visualisation extensions (D3.js, AS3, HTML5) used across a wide client base; led on-site development teams. Created a table-driven, maintenance-free SQL Server ETL system deployed to four clients, a SQL workflow rules engine for a bank's asset management, and a PostgreSQL/Tableau BI stack for an online movie platform.

Modelled a dimensional data warehouse for an asset manager (SSIS, SAP BusinessObjects) and delivered full-cycle BI — requirements, ETL, warehouse design, reporting and dashboards — for many clients. Built a geospatial dashboard system rendering very large KML datasets with data-driven shapes, colours and line styles.

Initiated and led the 30 TB legacy-to-SAP data transformation for the City of Johannesburg; built extract, load, purification-logging and business-visibility applications; acting data project manager.

Independent contractor for Alexander Forbes, the Drug Safety Research Unit (UK), Harrods, Honda UK and the Automobile Association of South Africa, handling claims processing, call-centre dispatch, and brokerage integration.

Delivered mission-critical collections, credit-scoring and MIS systems for Peoples Bank (Nedbank) on SQL Server and the Flux workflow framework.

Began career as a systems analyst and programmer, developing software solutions for clients.

Diploma in Business Management from Damelin Business School, Johannesburg, completed in 1991.
