I'm seeking opportunities in epidemiology, infectious disease, consulting, or public health data analysis where I can use surveillance data, research, and stakeholder communication to improve health outcomes.
Brianna Delph
@briannadelph
I analyze infectious disease data to strengthen infection prevention and public health programs.
What I'm looking for
I'm supporting Emory University's CDC-funded PEACH II program, helping reduce healthcare-associated infections caused by multidrug-resistant organisms across the healthcare delivery spectrum.
I collect specimens from nursing home and long-term care residents for RSV, COVID-19, and influenza studies, analyze antibiotic prescribing data in RStudio and Excel, and conduct clinical-staff surveys on enhanced barrier precautions. I've also used ArcGIS Pro to examine geographic disparities in liver transplant cases across Georgia and surrounding states.
For my Emory capstone, I analyzed 47,536 primary healthcare consultations from CARE's Gaza clinic to calculate infectious disease proportions across surveillance systems. I translated findings into recommendations, reports, an oral presentation, and an infographic for CARE.
My earlier infection-control internship at East Georgia Regional Medical Center included COVID-19 prevention education, policy development, and Cerner-based research on MRSA and antibiotic resistance risks. I also bring stakeholder communication, technical recruiting, team leadership, and frontline caregiving experience.
