What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue leading hands-on backend and integration work, building reliable high-scale systems while mentoring engineers and partnering with product and QA teams.

At ItsaCheckmate, I architect and own the POS and delivery-platform integration layer for an enterprise restaurant ordering platform serving roughly 15,000 locations. I've designed and built more than 20 POS and third-party ordering integrations end-to-end, including Speedline, Aloha Cloud Connect, Simphony, Omni, DoorDash, Deliveroo, and Uber.

I was promoted from Software Engineer to Lead Engineer in 2022 while retaining hands-on ownership of high-value integrations. I manage five engineers, mentor 15+ developers, lead code reviews and interviews, and work closely with product and QA to ship reliable releases.

I've led two connector migrations from on-premise dependencies to cloud-hosted API clients, eliminating recurring on-site connectivity failures. I also reduced API response times by 45%, improved database performance by 60%, and cut menu-import time by 80% for initiatives spanning up to 6,000 stores.

Earlier, I built Ruby on Rails products for eCommerce, online learning, mobile CRM, and campaign management at Qualtech Consultants and Prayantr Technologies. I continue to focus on distributed, multi-tenant systems, REST and GraphQL APIs, background processing, and dependable production integrations.
