What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a security leadership role where I can drive security risk management and compliance, lead crisis management and emergency preparedness, and expand security training—especially women-focused awareness—so operations stay safe and resilient.

I’m a security professional with over 30 years of experience in Security Risk Management, planning, and investigations across the United Nations, INTERPOL, and the South African Police Service. I’m trained under key UN security programmes (SCP, SSAFE, IFAK) and certified as a Women in Security Awareness Training (WSAT) Trainer.

In my current role as Security Specialist (NOC) at UNICEF Regional Office, Johannesburg Hub, I lead security risk management, planning, and analysis for regional operations. I strengthen compliance and capacity building across country offices, support crisis management and emergency preparedness, and review and advise on the Local Cost-Shared Security Budget (LCSSB).

I’m especially proud of measurable impact: I reduced security incidents by 30–40% through targeted security briefings and delivered continuous information updates. I also conduct physical assessments for UNICEF personnel residences, ensuring practical, risk-informed safeguards on the ground.

Across UNFPA, UNAMID, SAPS–INTERPOL, and SAPS DPCI, I’ve handled complex investigations, threat and vulnerability assessment, and coordination with prosecutors and law enforcement.
