Bilal Farooq

I’m a final-year AI-focused software engineering student at FAST-NUCES, passionate about building and deploying intelligent AI/ML-powered tools and AI-augmented web applications.

I’m actively working on Formulate, where I use custom YOLO vision models to digitize university forms and integrate an AI decision-making agent that automates approve, reject, and flag-for-review routing before human verification.

My hands-on experience spans supervised ML pipelines with Scikit-learn (feature engineering, outlier removal, label encoding, and model serialization), plus computer vision improvements like Test Time Augmentation, learning rate scheduling, and regularization for stronger accuracy on limited datasets.

I also bring end-to-end product thinking: I build full-stack applications with Django/FastAPI/PHP, REST APIs, React/Streamlit UIs, and I’ve deployed on-device models with Edge Impulse and TinyML workflows. In Agile/Scrum environments, I contribute to sprint planning, user stories, requirement analysis, and roadmap planning with Jira and ClickUp.
