Bikrant Shilpakar

I’m a motivated final-year BSc Computer Science student (AI Specialisation) with a strong foundation in backend engineering and relational database design. I build secure, scalable web applications and RESTful architectures with Django, FastAPI, and PHP.

I’m experienced with ORM management, custom authentication systems, and Git version control, and I enjoy turning structured requirements into clean, maintainable services. My work focuses on REST APIs, JWT and session-based authentication, RBAC, and solid relational schema design.

In my projects, I engineered a centralized Restaurant Management System REST API with JWT authentication and RBAC, plus a Flutter ordering experience and a React admin dashboard for real-time fulfillment. I also built an Expense Tracker using Django Class-Based Views, server-side validation, and custom UUID-based authentication, and I developed a secure e-commerce platform with bcrypt hashing and CSRF/SQL injection protections.

For my capstone, I implemented live-switching A* and Dijkstra pathfinding for emergency vehicle routing, integrating Firebase real-time database and authentication for live dispatch tracking. I’ve also worked as an IT Intern at GEN Education, maintaining internal databases and IT infrastructure and organizing digital records to improve retrieval consistency across teams.
