I’m looking for a System & Storage Administrator role where I can own data center operations and virtualization, manage Nutanix/VMware and storage services, and strengthen DR, backup, and security using ITIL and ISO 27001-aligned practices.

I’m a System & Storage Administrator with 10+ years of experience supporting Data Centre Operation, system uptime, and secure, reliable hosting. I lead system administration work that keeps critical e-governance environments running with a strong focus on risk reduction and continuous connectivity.

In my current role, I manage the Nutanix HCI environment through Prism Central & Prism Element, including PC, AOS, Firmware & AHV upgradation activity. I handle project delivery for the West Bengal State Data Centre, guiding day-to-day operations such as VPC/VM creation, NKE cluster creation, and secure storage services like object storage, block storage, NFS, and SMB.

I also support virtualization and platform operations across VMware vCenter and Hyper-V, while administering Windows & Linux environments. I manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP, and oversee DR-focused workflows using Nutanix Data Protection.

On the security and storage side, I manage Trend Micro products (Deep Security and Apex Central) and run antivirus administration. For backup and recovery, I’ve managed Micro Focus Data Protector, Symantec tools, and Dell EMC NetWorker, and I work within ITIL-based and ISMS (ISO 27001) guidelines to keep services auditable and resilient.
