I build local-first observability, distributed backends, and ML incident-diagnosis systems that turn telemetry into action.

What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can build reliable backend systems and ML tools, especially for observability and incident diagnosis—working close to production data and focusing on correctness, latency, and real-world failure handling.

I’m a Computer Science undergraduate in Bengaluru who enjoys building end-to-end systems—from low-level telemetry capture to high-level incident diagnosis—where performance, reliability, and usability all matter. I like replacing “ad-hoc debugging” with repeatable pipelines that stream insights as the system runs.

I recently built TraceLens’s local-first Linux observability app that transparently traces shell syscalls, memory, I/O, and network, then streams alerts via SSE and persists results as compressed NDJSON. I also built an RL environment (TraceLens) that trains LLM agents to diagnose backend incidents using a partially-observable loop over per-service logs and metrics, including a custom GRPO training setup and a structured incident taxonomy.

On the systems side, I created Googly, a distributed search-typeahead system with consistent hashing and cache sharding, plus an asynchronous batch-write pipeline to protect PostgreSQL under write spikes. I also built WALterDB, a C++20 relational + LSM database engine from scratch with ACID transactions, strict two-phase locking, and ARIES-style WAL crash recovery—because I care about correctness under real failure modes.
