I've researched optically transparent antenna materials at Instituto de Telecomunicações for the NEW-SPACE project, supporting visually unobtrusive small-cell densification for 5G/6G coverage and capacity.
During my visiting research at Aalborg University, I investigated transparent antennas for my MSc dissertation and performed antenna measurement and characterization in anechoic chambers. My work has also contributed to publications on optically transparent antennas and gain enhancement in ITO-based designs.
I've built instrumentation, control, sensing, and automated test systems by designing circuits, programming microcontrollers, and integrating hardware and software. I also led a team delivering a smart thermal chamber for automated transceiver testing and designed network infrastructure covering VLANs, routing, switching, and connectivity testing.
