At Virasoft, I improved a multimodal cancer survival model’s out-of-fold C-index from 0.647 to 0.692 by fixing data-quality issues and engineering features. I also reduced a 5.2TB pathology imaging pipeline by about 99% while improving model performance.
I designed a fusion approach for five data sources with varying coverage and corrected a misleading result using repeated cross-validation. In my projects, I compared models for brain MRI tumor classification and deployed a dental X-ray lesion detection pipeline on Hugging Face Spaces.
