What I'm looking for

I seek a hands-on software engineering role in fintech or systems reliability where I can work on backend, CI/CD and database challenges within collaborative, innovation-focused teams.

I am a Computer Science graduate with a 1st class honours from Liverpool John Moores University and practical industry experience in software engineering and IT support.

At Lusis Payments I support a major client (HSBC) on a high-reliability C++ transaction engine, handling issue investigation, SQL debugging, database management with DBeaver, Git-based collaboration, and CI/CD-driven testing and production deployments.

As an IT intern at TIP Group I worked across Europe in End-User Compute, improving workflows in ServiceNow, gaining Azure proficiency, coordinating cross-country teams, and temporarily leading the team during my manager's sabbatical.

My academic projects include designing a LoRa-based communication system in Embedded C (ESP32) with an HTML front end, demonstrating scalable, low-power solutions; I hold ITIL Foundation certification and bring strong problem solving, time management, and a proactive work ethic.
