I’m a committed Computer Maintenance Technician with a solid background in hardware diagnostics and user support. I’m recognized for effectively reducing downtime through swift troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Since February 2021 at Debre Berhan University, I’ve diagnosed and resolved hardware/software issues for 200+ computers used by academic and administrative staff. I validate new laptops/desktops against minimum requirements and help ensure compliance for both academic and administrative users.

I lead technical setup for new labs and improve service reliability by streamlining maintenance and repair processes. With a 95% first-time fix rate, I’ve focused on thorough diagnostics, efficient repairs, and clear communication to end-users.

I also perform routine system maintenance, execute software installations and updates, and train junior technicians on best practices for equipment maintenance and customer service. I prepare technical documentation and support cross-functional efforts to develop IT policies and procedures.
