Basil Effiong

I am a recent Biochemistry graduate from the University of Calabar with hands-on experience in community engagement, administration, and research. I combine scientific training with grassroots advocacy to design and support programs that promote gender equality and community welfare.

My practical experience includes administrative and community coordination at Superflux International, a junior researcher role at Erisco Food International, and internships with Summitvb and Go2 Venture where I supported research and operational deadlines under supervision.

As Director for Lions International projects, I led the "Safety for All" initiative, organizing seminars and school field trips and coordinating outreach activities that reached local stakeholders. I hold certificates from Lions International and the Global Youth Network and have a recommendation as a Grassroots Development Champion.

I bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, community outreach proficiency, research knowledge, and adaptability to remote work. I am motivated to apply my skills in an intern role that furthers community impact and gender-equality objectives.
