Layonu Busayo

I’m a Community Health Intern at Primary Health Care in Ilesa, and I’m currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Public Health at the University of Ilesa. I focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and public health work grounded in health determinants.

I’m especially motivated by policy analysis and the role policy plays in improving health outcomes. My goal is to leverage my academic learning to contribute effectively to public health initiatives and to support organizations with healthier, more sustainable communities.

Through my studies, I’ve been building practical abilities to analyze health trends and to implement and evaluate health interventions. I deliberately focus on community-based efforts and improving systems for prevention and promotion, rather than direct patient care.

I bring a commitment to health communication, leadership, and health advocacy, with a strong teamwork mindset. I’m eager to grow in roles that strengthen community health, improve public health policies, and make interventions measurable and effective.
