What I'm looking for

I am seeking research or lab roles in plant pathology/agriculture where I can apply molecular diagnostics and field trial skills, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and grow technically while contributing to farmer-focused solutions.

I am a BSc Agriculture graduate with hands-on research experience at the National Plant Pathology Research Center (NPPRC), where I contributed to molecular diagnostics, sequencing, and multiple applied trials including anaerobic soil disinfestation, MARPLE diagnostics, and pathogen characterization in major crops. My internship work combined lab-based molecular techniques with greenhouse and field trials to address soil-borne and foliar diseases relevant to Nepali smallholder systems.

I bring technical skills in DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, MinION sequencing, disease diagnosis, and data collection, along with field survey experience and community engagement. I work well in teams, adapt quickly to new techniques, and aim to apply rigorous lab and field methods to improve crop health and farmer livelihoods.
