What I'm looking for

I am looking for opportunities that allow me to leverage my extensive experience in education research and policy to drive impactful change in educational programs and policies.

I am a nationally-recognized expert in education research and policy, with over 40 years of experience in designing and conducting large-scale implementation and impact studies for K-12 education programs. My work primarily focuses on examining the impacts and implementation of interventions aimed at low-income and language minority children and families. I have authored numerous publications on family support programs and parent involvement, showcasing my commitment to improving educational outcomes for all children.

As a Principal Investigator on multiple evaluation technical assistance projects, I provide direct support to local evaluators in federal grant programs, ensuring the highest quality in the design and conduct of rigorous impact and implementation studies. My leadership in the Comprehensive Literacy Program has been instrumental in enhancing literacy programs across various states, emphasizing the importance of family engagement in children's literacy development.

Throughout my career, I have led significant projects, including the Evaluation Technical Assistance for the i3 and EIR Innovation Grants, where I guided evaluators in testing innovative solutions to improve student achievement. My expertise in measurement and fidelity of implementation has been pivotal in driving successful educational interventions, and I remain dedicated to advancing research that positively impacts the educational landscape.
