At FJ MIMARLIK, I developed a strategic action plan for a new city project in Oman, coordinating stakeholder collaboration and securing accreditation from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning.
I also led an interior design team for a residential project in Saudi Arabia and mentored architecture interns. As an Architect, I introduced and implemented BIM and contributed to a mixed-use development in Iraq, including zoning, conceptual design, and construction documentation.
At IMPACT CIRCLES, where I’m a Research Intern, I research civic technology initiatives in the Arab region and their impact on urban governance and community engagement. I also contributed research-based recommendations to a policy development workshop on gaming disorder.
My research includes urban agriculture in Istanbul’s Yedikule and Ayvansaray Gardens, decentralized energy transitions, and sustainable urban development. I co-authored a forthcoming book chapter on urban agriculture interventions and contributed to an article on urban agriculture as a sustainable urban development strategy.
