I work on the team that keeps unsafe products off Amazon's EMEA marketplaces. I monitor regulatory and safety-alert sources, investigate catalogue and order data with SQL, and act on products that present a safety risk, from removal to full recalls. I am also the main point of contact for 50+ users across four EMEA sites and build the tools that make the team faster.

I joined Amazon to identify non-compliant and safety-risk products across the EMEA catalogue. This is where I learned product safety at scale: reading regulatory alerts, finding affected products and orders in huge datasets, and supporting customers during recalls.

I sold web development and digital marketing services to businesses across the region, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to signed contract. This role taught me how to build relationships, negotiate and communicate with stakeholders, skills I still use every day with vendors and managers.

My first compliance role. I carried out on-site inspections to verify that producers met organic (ecological) agriculture standards, then documented and reported my findings. It's where I learned that compliance comes down to details, evidence and clear reporting, a mindset I brought with me into product safety.

Combined economics, management and engineering, building the analytical foundation I later applied to data-driven compliance work.
