What I'm looking for

I am seeking opportunities in language technology and computational linguistics, where I can leverage my research skills and contribute to innovative projects.

As a postgraduate student in the Interinstitutional MSc Program in Language Technology, I am passionate about advancing the field of computational linguistics. My current research focuses on offensive language detection using machine learning methodologies, where I aim to improve the accuracy of hate speech identification systems. My academic journey has been marked by a strong commitment to understanding the complexities of language and its applications in technology.

Throughout my research experience, I have contributed to various projects, including the development of the AIKIA corpus for offensive language detection in Modern Greek. My role as a research fellow at the Institute for Language and Speech Processing allowed me to enrich linguistic databases and co-author scientific publications. I thrive in collaborative environments where I can apply my analytical skills and contribute to meaningful research.
