What I'm looking for

I’m looking to grow in cybersecurity training and security operations—building practical, certification-aligned programs while also contributing research-informed solutions in networking and network protection.

I’m a Cybersecurity and Network Security Lecturer with 15+ years of experience across system administration, network engineering, and security operations. I translate advanced security practice into job-ready training—building courses, labs, assessments, and curriculum that align with industry certification tracks.

In enterprise environments, I managed security infrastructure including FortiGate firewalls, FortiAnalyzer, Cisco ISE, and Kaspersky Security Center, and delivered secure VPN connectivity for 5,000+ staff and external partners. I also led security incident investigations using packet-level analysis (Wireshark, tcpdump), reducing mean time to resolution by 40%, while improving detection-to-response time through centralized logging and alerting.

Alongside my teaching and operational work, I’m a PhD candidate pursuing Fiber Optic Communications and Machine Learning research. My work focuses on optical wireless communications, underwater visible light communications (UVLC), and free-space optical (FSO) systems, with published research metrics of 296 Google Scholar citations (h-index: 7, i10-index: 6). I bring this research mindset into my training by modeling real systems, emphasizing practical scenarios, and continuously updating content with the latest security best practices.
