What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can supervise and grow trauma-informed teams while strengthening child safety, risk/safety assessment, and case planning—supporting youth development, family communication, and culturally inclusive practice.

I’m a Human Services professional with 7+ years of experience supporting children, youth, and families through trauma-informed, client-centered care. I build trusting relationships, assess risk and safety, and coordinate case management in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

In my most recent role as a CFS Group Home Supervisor, I provided safe, inclusive supervision for at-risk youth aged 12–17. I collaborated with social workers and behavioral specialists to create individualized care plans, facilitated family meetings and goal-setting, and supported reunification where appropriate.

I’ve also trained and mentored new staff in de-escalation techniques, child protection policies, and person-centered care approaches. I ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and licensing requirements, while managing intakes, files, scheduling, reports, financial reconciliations, and staff evaluations.

Earlier roles strengthened my direct practice and teamwork: as a Child and Youth Care Worker, I delivered relational trauma-informed care, prepared reports, administered medications, and supported daily routines and mentoring. I’m committed to promoting child safety, family well-being, and cultural inclusivity while upholding the mission and values of Alberta Children and Family Services.
