Avriel Steir

I’m an Outreach Program Scholar focused on college preparation and practical career development. At Florida Gulf Coast University, I completed a week-long on-campus program centered on career and education readiness.

I build real-world career materials, including a career plan, personal brand, interview attire guidance, and resume development. I also explored four STEM & entrepreneurship career options through workshops, tours, and off-campus field trips.

I’m certified through NCCER and trained in hands-on construction foundations—Carpentry Level 1, Intro to Masonry, and Intro to Construction. I’m also power tool certified, and I’m currently working toward Customer Service Level 2 (expected completion June 2026).

I volunteer and contribute to construction-related community efforts, including 100+ hours with the FGCU C.R.O.P. program, supporting open houses and activities like trash pickup. On projects with East Lee High School, I helped with carpentry tasks such as nailing, priming, painting, lighting large letters, plus building frames, cutting/sanding wood, and constructing concrete pads.
