What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated and compassionate psychologist with strong training in trauma-informed care, psychosocial support, and mental health facilitation. My experience spans working with vulnerable populations in various settings, including hospitals, schools, and community organizations. I am passionate about improving mental health awareness and support structures, particularly for children, adolescents, and families.
Throughout my career, I have conducted school-based psychosocial support sessions and facilitated mentorship programs, demonstrating my commitment to fostering mental health education. My role as a volunteer psychologist at Child Space Organization allowed me to co-facilitate a teachers’ mental health training and support the planning of a children’s mental health camp. Additionally, my experience at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital involved providing psychosocial assessments and psychotherapy, assisting with GBV and child abuse cases, and delivering psychological first aid to patients in distress.
