At Miale ya Tumaini Rescue Center, I partner with vulnerable children, teenagers, and adult families to provide grassroots psychosocial support and restore individual agency. I also develop psychological explanations and structured reports based on qualitative research and case conceptualizations.
I design and facilitate capacity-building and psychoeducation workshops focused on emotional regulation and community safety. I coordinate care with medical personnel, psychiatrists, and legal and social services, and maintain confidential client records using G Suite.
Earlier, as a Remote Support & Administration Assistant (Intern) at Miale ya Tumaini Rescue Center, I conducted community intakes, psychosocial evaluations, and qualitative interviews. At Kakamega County Teaching and Referral Hospital, I conducted clinical assessments and support sessions, including crisis response and documentation support for survivors of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence.
