What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can deliver high-quality legal translation and court interpreting, support integrity and accountability, and contribute to anti-corruption work through careful investigation, audits, and policy-focused communication.

I am a Translation and Interpretation Specialist in the Supreme Court/Rwanda, ensuring legal translation of documents and court interpreting for judges, lawyers, experts, suspects, victims and witnesses in French, English, Kiswahili and Kinyarwanda. I also provide proofreading, editing and revision, precis-writing, and monitor interpretation quality to ensure the message is accurately captured and transposed.

Before this, I worked as an Investigator in the Office of the Ombudsman/Rwanda, handling injustice cases through investigation and mediation, conducting criminal investigations on corruption and financial crimes, and preparing files for prosecution. I have also conducted compliance audits, translated interviews, drafted reports and policy/legal instruments, and supported regional and international cooperation for anti-corruption and assets recovery, alongside ongoing training in integrity and anti-corruption.
