At the Parliament of Rwanda, I served successively as an In-House Translator, Translation Reviser, and Translation Analyst/Coordinator from 2005 to 2025. I reviewed and refined legislation for publication in Kinyarwanda, French, and English.
I was a member of the teams that translated the Constitution of the Republic of Rwanda into French and English in 2023 and the 2003 Constitution, as revised in 2015, in 2015. These assignments called for legal precision, terminological consistency, and fidelity to the authoritative text.
On a freelance, on-call basis, I provided translation services to organisations including COMESA, the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights, and Global Press Institute/Global Press Journal. I also served as an in-house translator at Radio La Benevolencija from January 2003 to December 2004.
In 2026, on an assignment from Bytelex Advocates, I drafted in English and translated into French and Kinyarwanda regulations governing Capital Market Intermediary Service Platform Operators in Rwanda. I use SDL Trados Studio, memoQ, and Wordfast, alongside translation memories, termbases, and AI-assisted workflows with human review and quality control.
