Astrid Veiga

I’m an Economics undergraduate with complementary training in Data Science and hands-on experience in data analysis, cleaning, visualization, and statistical research. I bring quantitative methodology and technical rigor, working confidently with Python and SQL to turn complex datasets into clear, decision-ready findings.

In my Labor Market Data Analysis using ENOE (2025 – Present), I processed and analyzed microdata from Mexico’s National Statistics Occupation and Employment Survey. I cleaned, transformed, and validated large datasets using Python, conducted statistical testing to compare formal and informal workers, developed data visualizations, and prepared technical socioeconomic reports.

Through my coursework and certifications, I’m building depth across descriptive and inferential work, including practical exposure to machine learning. I’m motivated to contribute to data analytics and applied research—especially roles involving Business Intelligence or Market Research—where I can keep improving the quality and communication of analytics.
