Asmaa Basawad

I am a Registered Practical Nurse with hands-on experience in long-term care and hospital settings, skilled in medication administration, wound care, vital-sign monitoring, and care-plan development. I hold a Practical Nursing Diploma from Centennial College and a temporary practical nursing license, and I bring strong organization, communication and interprofessional collaboration skills.

I have delivered nursing care at Extendicare Rouge Valley during both student consolidation and as a temporary licensed RPN, where I performed assessments, charting, medication administration, and wound dressing while supporting resident health and safety. I am bilingual (English and Swahili), computer-proficient, and motivated to continue growing clinically in a dynamic healthcare team.
