Teach nursing courses in classroom, lab, and clinical settings. Advise and mentor students and contribute to curriculum development, program evaluation, and course materials and assessments.

Provided concierge pediatric home visits, administering vaccines according to the CDC schedule. Coordinated care with NPs and educated parents.

Admitted and assessed micro preemies at 23-week gestational age and above. Provided critical care including PICC, UAC/UVC lines, intravenous infusions, and nasogastric/orogastric tubes.

Monitored, implemented, and evaluated student care across three elementary schools. Supported health needs for 600+ students.

Provided care for patients undergoing total body cooling. Treated and assessed patients with hydrops fetalis and supported EEG monitoring.

Organized team events outside the work environment and worked with staff to support unit well-being and morale.

Managed NICU patients requiring oxygen therapy and high frequency jet ventilation (HFJV) and high frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV). Provided care for critically ill neonates with these support needs.

Participated in monthly meetings and attended events sponsored by the Student Nurses Association, including blood drives and Living Classrooms.

Activities and societies: Advanced PNP II/III practicums and pediatric primary care residency including Dell Children’s Medical Center, People’s Community Clinic, Christus Children’s, and Baylor Scott & White pediatrics; 1,050 total clinical hours.

Completed a Doctor of Nursing Practice program in Pediatric Primary Care at Baylor University, including advanced practice clinical practicums and residencies.

Earned a Master of Science in Nursing (Entry into Nursing) from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in May 2019.

Activities and societies: Minor in Psychology.

Completed a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health with a concentration in Medical Sciences at the University of Tampa, graduating in May 2016.
