Arwa Ahmed

I am a dedicated medical professional with a strong focus on internal medicine and a commitment to advancing patient care through rigorous research. While my research projects are in progress, my expertise with Revman, Jointpoint, Cochrane NMA tools and evidence synthesis has been central to my research work. In addition to my research achievements, I have held several important leadership positions within HOPES, a student-run NGO dedicated to improving healthcare access for underserved communities. As Marketing Team Incharge, Media and Marketing Incharge, Abbasi Shaheed Team Incharge, Joint and then General Secretary, I have built strong skills in leadership, planning, and managing programs. These roles have helped me coordinate projects, build community relationships, and enhance organizational impact. These experiences have shaped my belief that medicine is not limited to the bedside, it is also about improving the systems and communities around it. Looking ahead, I am eager to complete my USMLE steps and embark on a U.S. residency program through the Match process. My long-term goal is to pursue a career in internal medicine with a focus on clinical research. I am excited about the prospect of contributing to a dynamic residency program and further developing my skills within the U.S. healthcare system.
