Arun Lal Parihar
@arunlalparihar
Cybersecurity student specializing in SOC monitoring, SIEM workflows, and secure application testing.
What I'm looking for
I’m a cybersecurity student building real-world confidence through SOC monitoring, SIEM workflows, and hands-on incident readiness. I focus on turning alerts and logs into clear detection thinking, practical triage, and security operations that teams can trust.
In my internship at Tech Hierarchy, I completed a program centered on SIEM monitoring and SOC analyst workflows—incident triage, alert review, and detection thinking through hands-on monitoring scenarios. I also developed deeper vulnerability visibility by supporting security monitoring workflows in a Wazuh lab environment during my NCCS internship, where I worked on log onboarding, alert review, and detection rule creation.
Beyond SOC work, I help strengthen secure learning and training environments as Technical Support at TheCyberThesis. I’ve developed and deployed web-based CTF challenges while supporting secure infrastructure configuration, access control, monitoring, documentation, and operational reliability—bridging security concepts with dependable systems.
My projects reflect the same mindset: security through automation and developer-friendly outcomes. I built a Secure Code Analyzer (Python/Flask/React) that flags insecure coding patterns using regex and AST-based detection, and a real-time log monitoring system (Python/Flask/HTML-CSS) for simplified incident detection in small-scale environments. I’m especially interested in threat modeling, cloud-native application security, and automation for modern fintech environments.
